I was born in Havana Cuba in 1959 just after Fidel Castro took power. My parents had a chance to leave Cuba in 1965 during the Cuban Airlift. My parents along with me and my brother flew to Miami Florida.We later moved to Hollywood, then Fort Lauderdale. I attended Cardinal Gibbons High School and Graduated in 1977. I went on to attend Florida Institute of Technology and graduated with an Ocean Engineering and Electronics Degree. I also received an Army Reserve commission as a Second Lieutenant. I would go on to spend 28 years in the Army and Army Reserve retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel..
After college I settled in Deland Florida and raised three kids, Brianne, Jenny and Chris. Spend almost twenty years here, it is a neat town. I accepted a job in Panama City Florida in 2006 and is where we live today. We were married in Destin Florida in June 2007.
